HOLY ORDERS

pyge4igvkzksaido8sv0l0xf3nl.pngThe Sacrament of Holy Orders is the participation in Christ's priesthood, which He bestowed upon His Apostles. The Catechism of the Catholic Church refers to the Sacrament of Holy Orders as "the sacrament of apostolic ministry." (1536) The word "ordination" finds its roots in the Latin word ordinatio, which means to incorporate one into an order. In the Catholic Church there are three levels of ordination: The episcopate (bishops), the priesthood (priests), or the diaconate (deacons).

More information on vocations to the priesthood or diaconate can be found at the Diocese of Norwich website:  Click Here

Any man who is interested in discerning a call to ordination should contact the pastor for an interview.
